Craft

The majority of the craft we use are designed by Ribcraft Ltd. The Commercial Offshore RIBs are designed as versatile commercial platforms and can be constructed in many different configurations catering for individual requirements. Originally designed and constructed as a foul weather boat, they easily cope with the endurance demands of heavy commercial usage. They are exported all over the world to a diverse spectrum of operators such as French lifeboat stations, oil terminals, fast rescue craft on the Nile and the Swiss Lakes. Ribcraft vessels are tried and tested commercial workers.

 

Certification

All our RIBs conform to the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) commercial safety requirements and are certified to Cat 4. All have current inspection certificates from the MCA. Our vessels carry copies of Skipper Qualifications, Insurance and boat certification.

 

Safety

Any activity that takes place on or around water carries risk, however, this does not mean that an activity is unsafe. There are a number of mechanisms we use to mitigate risk using a proactive approach. To find out more about these please click here.

 

Skippers

Our Skippers are commercially endorsed advanced powerboat operators and hold the required RYA certificates. In addition all have completed the RYA sea survival course and are first aid trained.

 

Insurance

All of our RIBs are fully insured and underwritten for commercial use both skippered and bareboat. All our boats carry a copy of our insurance, available for inspection.
