Services and Packages
The RYA National Powerboat Scheme exists to meet the needs of those who use small, open powerboats for sport, whether for their own sake or in connection with another activity such as sailing, diving, canoeing or water skiing. The National Powerboat Scheme is applicable to sports boats, RIBs, dories, launches and other boats that do not normally provide accommodation or cooking facilities.
Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Training
We can provide you with the very best in RYA Training. Our training solutions are delivered exclusively by RYA recognised sea schools, which means that the centre has been thoroughly inspected for safety and quality, and follows a strict set of conditions to remain accredited. The benefit of using a recognised RYA Training Centre is that we can offer all the powerboat courses currently being run under the RYA flag. Only sea schools can display the RYA logo. Formal training though is not the only solution, If you just want to gain further experience, be it in your own boat or one provided by us, we are more than happy to take you to your next evolution.
Training Provider
When endorsing a training provider we look for ‘added value’. UK RIB Centre and its principle Stuart Mckeen provides the ‘added value’ we require. Stuart's knowledge is extensive, on the water as a commercially endorsed advanced powerboat skipper and instructor, in the air as an Army Air Corps Pilot and on the ground as a thoroughly good bloke. Stuart runs UK RIB Centre under an ethos of excellence.
